Centrepointe Theatre Expansion

2011

Vision Painting completed the painting scope for the Centrepointe Theatre expansion inside Ben Franklin Place in Nepean, supporting the creation of a modern and flexible public performance facility.

The scope included the black box studio theatre, expanded lobby, dressing rooms, backstage support areas, administration spaces, washrooms, workshop areas, service rooms, public corridors, doors, frames, ceilings, walls, trims, and detailed architectural features. The work helped create clean, durable, and professional finishes suited for performers, visitors, staff, public events, training uses, and daily theatre operations.

Because the project included a black box studio, two-storey lobby, backstage areas, dressing rooms, multi-purpose rooms, theatrical lighting, flexible seating, and high-traffic public spaces, the painting work required careful preparation, sharp lines, consistent application, and a precise finish adapted to both performance and public-use environments.

Completed for M.P. Lundy Construction Inc. and Hobin Architecture Incorporated, with The City of Ottawa as owner, this project demonstrates Vision Painting’s experience with public performing arts facilities where durability, presentation, coordination, accessibility, and professional execution are essential.
