Overbrook Community Centre Renovation & Expansion

2013

Vision Painting completed the interior painting scope for the Overbrook Community Centre renovation and expansion in Ottawa, a municipal facility serving families, visitors, staff, and community groups.

The scope included the gymnasium, lobby and reception spaces, corridors, multi-purpose rooms, community areas, doors, frames, trims, ceilings, accent bands, upper wall areas, and detailed architectural finishes. The work helped refresh the facility with clean, bright, and durable interiors suited for recreation, public programming, community events, and daily shared use.

Because the project included a new gymnasium, multi-purpose room, high-traffic public areas, natural daylight, sports equipment, wall padding, and active circulation zones, the painting work required careful coordination, sharp lines, consistent application, and durable finishes designed for long-term public use.

Completed for Frecon Construction Limited, this project demonstrates Vision Painting’s experience with municipal recreation and community facilities where durability, clean execution, coordination, and welcoming public spaces are essential.
