2026
Vision Painting completed the interior painting scope for Salus 56 Capilano, a supportive housing residence located at 56 Capilano Drive in Nepean, developed for Ottawa Salus Corporation with McDonald Brothers Construction. Public project information describes the building as a four-storey supportive housing residence designed for older adults experiencing complex mental health, substance use, housing, and physical health challenges.
The scope included residential units, private bathrooms, corridors, stairwells, office-style areas, washrooms, amenity rooms, tenant support areas, common spaces, doors, frames, trims, walls, ceilings, and high-use circulation zones. The work helped create a bright, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, visitors, and on-site support services.
Because the building combines affordable housing with wraparound supports, barrier-free units, shared amenities, and community spaces designed to reduce isolation, the painting work required careful preparation, clean lines, consistent application, and durable finishes suited for daily residential and support-service use.
Completed on schedule, this project demonstrates Vision Painting’s experience with supportive housing environments where durability, accessibility, resident comfort, coordination, and welcoming interior spaces are essential.
